TL DR I need to figure out how to manage charging thresholds under Windows 10 LTSC with a W530 and X230.Īppreciate the help! Will post back if I figure this out.As its name suggests, a Lenovo power management driver is a tiny computer program that enables power management on your Lenovo laptop. I have tried enabling sideloading of applications under the Developer Settings, but I can't find an actual download file for the application now. But, under LTSC, there is no Windows store! The problem is, in order to set the power threshold under Windows 10, you have to use the Lenovo Vantage app from the Windows store. (the W530 still obeys it for some reason) I had them both set to stop charging at 75% before installing LTSC, but now the X230 reverted back to 100% charging after the install. That said, I would like to be able to adjust the battery charging threshold on my W530 and X230 that I am running LTSC on. It has been a very great OS so far, and I believe it truly is the perfect balance between the Windows experience that is up-to-date and an operating system that isn't filled with crapware. Due to popular demand and many success stories, I ditched regular Windows 10 and went for a copy of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC.
